I love burgers, it's hard to make a bad one as long as real beef is used and you don't add "un-cheese" like any fast food place.
There was a half pound of beef left in the fridge from 'merica Day. I needed to eat it, but had no slices of cheese, no mustard, no pickles, no pineapple, and no lettuce. What am I to do?
Grilled up the burger on the good old panini skillet and then started thinking. Grabbed an onion and chopped threw it in some olive oil and sugar on another skillet let is sizzle. I wanted something else to flavor the carmalized onions, duh, I was holding a glass of 312. Added.
Still wanted cheese, so I made up something new, as far as I know, cream cheese burger.
Spread a little light cream cheese, added the onion, toasted by over-sized buns and I'm done.
Here ya go.

I am now the Iron Chef
Cast iron skillet. Didn't know how good it could be. Blackened tilapia, with an asian rub I made myself. Bought sushi at the grocery store and made this to complement.
Lots of butter, maybe a half cup of butter went into 4 pieces of fish. I found out that you need to crack a window, pull out the air purifier, and get an industrial fan to use these in an apartment.
Apparently when you wife is tired you should never finish the food. Woops.
Cast iron skillets: because it taste good, is fun to use, and is an excuse to use more butter.

I am trying a new corn on the cob recipe. I guess any recipe for me is new because this is only the 3rd time I have made it. The first consisted of putting it on the grill. The second time I made a butter/sour cream/ salt/ pepper cream for it. It went alright. This time I'm doing it the old fashion way, boiled.

Making up/ stealing a tuna sandwich recipe. Tuna, mayo, olive oil, celery seed, lemon juice. Let's see how it goes.
Corn on the cob and a tuna sandwich. Sounds like a meal for 80 degree weather to me.
